DIY 3D monogram

What a fun project this was! I wanted to do something like this for a gift for Christmas, so I tried a little practice run.  I did two for about $20. Not too bad!

What you will need:

-a 3-D letter- I just got mine at a craft store
-cute paper
-a frame (I did 12x12 but you can do any size you want)
-Spray Mount (or other strong adhesive)
-Paint (I used black chalkboard paint because it was all I had)-Thanks Anna!
-Paint Brush

STEP 1: Paint your letter.  Make sure to get the edges because they will be seen.
I did two coats an hour a part and that seemed to work well

STEP 2: Take the cardboard that comes in the frame and spray the Spray Mount all over, then lay your paper flat and push down while spreading your hands over the paper
so it will adhere to the cardboard

STEP 3: After your letter has dried, spray an extra think amount of Spray Mount onto the back of it, aline it to where you want it on your paper, and firmly press it into place.  Let it sit flat for about ten min before picking it up and putting it into your frame.

There you have it! Super fun and easy.

Hope you enjoy it!
